How long will it take to get results?
Your kit should arrive 7-10 business days after you complete all registration forms. Test results are provided in an easy-to understand report available within 3-4 weeks of the sample arriving at the lab. If an individual or couple learns that they or their future children are at risk for a genetic disease, a genetic counselor will provide options for family planning or medical care.
Understanding your results
If your results show that you and/or your partner may be at increased risk for having a child with a genetic disease, a genetic counselor can help you understand next steps and discuss family planning or medical care options. If no concerning findings are identified, the results will significantly reduce your risk of having a child with a genetic disease.

2. Insurance: $49.00 due now, the rest is billed to your insurance. Once your order is placed, Myriad Genetics will provide you with a cost estimate by email and/or text message.

- Eligibility for financial assistance

Your cost for screening depends on several factors, including your specific insurance plan and any copay or unmet deductible. Most people pay $0.00 out-of-pocket.
After the lab receives your test order, you'll get a personalized cost estimate outlining what your insurance is likely to cover, your expected out-of-pocket costs, and the payment options available to you.
If you do not have insurance coverage or you have a high unmet deductible, you can choose to forgo insurance and opt for the self-pay price of $249.00 for your test. If you cannot afford testing, there are financial assistance programs available for those who qualify.
